The third annual Roxy Chicken Jam is set to take place March 22-25, 2007 in Park City, UT. With $30,000 up for grabs, the addition of the Superpipe competition and valuable WTTR ratings points as the last six-star contest of the year and the deciding event for the 2006/2007 season, this year's Roxy Chicken Jam will be bigger than ever before. The top pros in women's snowboarding will be there, including Roxy team rider and superpipe master Torah Bright.

Weekend Storm Brings Nearly Two Feet Of New Snow PDF Print E-mail

ImageA week before President’s Weekend visitors are set to arrive, Utah ski areas are blanked by almost two feet of the Greatest Snow on Earth®. The storm rolled in Saturday night and snow continued throughout Sunday and Sunday night. The National Weather Service is predicting continued snowfall throughout the week. Some of the best conditions of the 2006-07 ski season await holiday visitors and locals.

The invited riders will compete for a piece of the $90,000 purse in the Eagle Superpipe, the world’s largest superpipe and the site for the 2002 Winter Games.

ImageThe Quiksilver Canis Lupus Challenge on Saturday, March 10th takes place in the mile-long natural halfpipe known as “Canis Lupus.” Located off of the Super Condor Express, this is an exciting race that will test all of your skills. Skiers and boarders are both invited to compete, and will be judged strictly on time of completion. The first half of the course is a banked slalom followed by a “not-so-straight-shot” to the finish.

ImageFor the last five years, X-Dance has been the staple of action sport films during Sundance Film Festival.  Since the initial festival introduction it has become the festival to check out the best in each category of snowboard, surf, skate, BMX and base-jumping.  This year the films have been selected from the best of the best releases in the past year.

Kicking off the festival, Park City Mountain Resort showed their own "City, Park City" which features Shaun White, Jeremy Jones, and Mark Frank Montoya.
