 How do you support a habit?
If you habits include cliff drops with the Wildcats in Canada, massive jumps built in Scandinavia, or first descents in Alaska it helps to have a support of 8. Tadashi Fuse, Mads Jonnson and Jussi Oksanen have been the primary developers of the Burton Ion boot for two years running and have made a fast entry, ready to fire, supportive boot capable of every condition put through.
Because of the demanding climates and features in each of their video parts this season, including the latest Process Video; they are all literally putting their best foot forward. This season, the Ion is lighter, smarter and more comfortable, if that were possible? The speed zone is almost enough of a selling feature to be used on any snowboard boot moving forward. You’ve got to keep your dome protected these days. With icy superpipes, mega booters, and tree runs all it takes is a slight mis-judgement and you could crack that thing wide open. The invention of the zipper revolutionized the clothing industry and brought about changes that have never been improved upon since. Such is the case with the Speed lacing system or Speed Zone that is the primary feature of the Ion. Just like pulling on your pants in the morning, pulling two zone cords tightens up the entire boot from heel to toe.
