A String of Recent Storms Make for Top Notch Conditions

SALT LAKE CITY – Thanks to recent, back to back snow storms, Utah resorts are offering fantastic, powdery conditions and 100-inch base depths. In the last 24 hours ski areas received one to two feet of The Greatest Snow on Earth®.

The National Weather Service is forecasting another storm tonight which is expected to deliver another 12-24 inches to Utah resorts.

Since February 1, 2007, almost 100-inches of new snow has blanketed the Wasatch Mountains.

“The abundant snowfall we have experienced this month sets us up for fantastic spring skiing,” says Ski Utah President Nathan Rafferty. “These successive storms have brought us the quality snow that has long been synonymous with Utah.”

Historically, March is the state’s heaviest snowfall month.
