Snowboard photographers art is seen by millions of people everyday around the world. Either in the mailboxes as the latest issues hits the streets for the first time or passed around a group of friends reading articles or mesmerized by their favorite athlete. Photographers are the people standing next to the filmers getting the video that people buy with freezing fingers and handling light rigging. Those split second images that capture the instance of history making. Think about the JP Walker double cork as it appeared in poster format before the video was released. Examining every frame to see exactly what the trick was, then the movie came out and it happened a lot faster that you thought. Photography is an art and the subject of snowboarding is no less artistic than photos hanging in galleries all over the world. On Friday, November 16 is a chance to see four of snowboardings best photographers and local residence in the business display their work as art pieces in the show ‘Hustle and Snow’ featuring Andy Wright, E-Stone, Rob Mathis, and Stan Evans at the Circle Lounge. Music will be provided by snowboard athletes Justin Bennee and J2. The show will be up until January 31, well into the 2008 season.
