The rain came down and the ramps went up.  The Quiksivler/Three Magazine contest went down with a little rain and a little shine on Saturday, September 16 in front of the Hawk/Quiksilver store at The Gateway.

Registration started at 11 am and warm ups lasted nearly an hour while kids slowly started to warm up with the temperature creeping up to 50 degrees.  The catagories were divided into Intermediate and Advanced and finished up with a best trick contest by 3 pm.  The rain stayed at bay for most the day with a light spinkle and then the sun warming up the streets for the contestants and the bystanders.   Snow has been falling in the mountains and soon, Quiksilver will be breaking out the snowboard outerwear for the 2007 season.  Thanks.
