BRIGHTON, UTAH (November 15, 2006) – The 2007 season has officially begun! Last Wednesday, November 15 Brighton opened up their ticket windows and began issuing tickets for the new season. Opening has been much anticipated and longed for with the last storms that dropped 2" of snow and blanketed the man made snow with fluffy Utah powder.
Majestic Lift and Explorer lift were open until 11 am, and then Crest came alive and ushered riders and skiers to the top of Brighton for the untouched powder that was waiting to be ridden. Falling suit Alta, Snowbird, The Canyons, Park City, Powder Mountain, and Solitude all opened over the weekend with the rest of the resorts tentatively opening in the next few days. “We are very excited to begin the 2006/2007 season and celebrate 70 years of skiing at Brighton. The new snow is great to see and we hope it will continue,” said Brighton Area Manager Randy Doyle. |
