ImageTest Ride 07 Gear at the Burton Demo Tour
The 2006/07 Burton Demo Tour is coming to a resort near you so you can get your ride on before you get your buy on. Featuring 200 stops in the U.S., the Burton Demo Tour is the world’s largest on-snow gear demo. And the best part is it’s completely FREE to try out your dream set-up. This season’s Burton Demo Tour also includes the premier 10-stop Super Stops — 10 weekend-long events with a dedicated sponsor village, after-parties and jam sessions for local shredders. Burton boards, boots and bindings for men, women, girls and boys will be available to demo. If you’re under 18, be sure to bring your mom or dad to sign a waiver so you can try gear.

Jan. 5-7, 2007 Heavenly Mountain Resort, S. Lake Tahoe, Calif.

The Super Stops, scheduled throughout the season at 10 select resorts across the U.S., are sponsored by Motorola, Volvo cars, Snickers, Paul Mitchell, Nintendo and GORE-TEX® products. A dedicated Super Stop sponsor village will have a huge array of new products for riders to try out and win free gear, including: Motorola’s new KRZR phone and Burton Motorola Audex music products; visit with Swedish models Lisa and Marie as they present the Volvo XC90 SUV and the all-new C30 coupe; Nintendo’s Wii and Nintendo DS gaming systems; Paul Mitchell haircare products to add even more style to the tour; GORE-TEX® fabric featuring Burton’s line of GORE-TEX® outwear; R.E.D. helmets and Anon goggles and sunglasses.

The Winter Park and Stratton Mountain Resort stops coincide with Burton Women’s Learn To Ride (WLTR) Camps. These weekends offer a three-day camp open to all abilities of women snowboarders. In addition to personal instruction with top instructors, WLTR Camps include a special event to benefit Boarding for Breast Cancer, goodie bags and more.

Know Before You Go - This Tuesday
A critical need exists for basic avalanche education for all ski and snowboarders in Utah. Just as students in Hawaii learn about the dangers of rip tides and shore breaks at an early age, snow sports enthusiasts in Utah need to learn about snow safety and avalanches. The rising number [...]

Pair Pass at the Canyons.
Going up to the mountains these days is an expensive proposition.  Throw in lunch and it’s enough to break any shredders bank.  The Canyons feels your pain and is offering a great special this season until February 12th.  Get 2 lift tickets, 2 burgers, and 2 beers or sodas for $109.  That’s $54 each for [...]
