 PARK CITY, Utah – Every January, action sport filmmakers, top athletes, cutting-edge bands, DJs and key figures from the entertainment industry gather in Park City, Utah, to celebrate action sports culture at the X-Dance Action Sports Film Festival. This year, the action promises to be better than ever, now that X-Dance announces their partnership with new title sponsor LAT 34, an AOL and Fusion Entertainment joint venture.
The winning film of the X-Dance Film Festival will be awarded promotional opportunities worth up to $75,000 on Lat34.com.
Based in Los Angeles, California, LAT34 is the first on-demand action sports broadband network devoted to action sports. Lat34.com delivers exclusive video, blogs, user-generated content, social networking, breaking news and in-depth news coverage of action sports. Launched in June 2006, LAT34 has already become a major force in the world of action sports coverage, which encompasses surfing, snowboarding, freeskiing, BMX, skateboarding and other action sports.

Running side-by-side with the Sundance Film Festival, the LAT34/X-Dance Festival will be held in Park City on January 19-23, 2006. The festival consists of free screenings of top action sports films with filmmaker Q&As, nightly parties, and a closing night awards ceremony featuring a special guest music headliner. X-Dance headquarters and screening room are located at 333 Main Street, 2nd Floor of the Main Street Mall, across from the Egyptian Theater.
